Kensington Palace is one of the most notorious of London Royal houses. In its time it has been residence to William III & Mary II, Princess Diana, the Queen Mother, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry and many more.

The Palace is an extended Jacobean mansion initially built in 1605. Over the years various expansions and improvements have been carried out. Wren is credited with turning the the house into a Palace and enabling the ‘Royal Court’ to take up residence.

Improvements and alterations have continued for many years and still continue today as the building is divided or resculptureed to meet the requirements of its new residents. The building is set in delightful gardens and the ‘State Rooms’ are open to the public throughout the year.

Chisel & Mouse have chosen to sculpture the complete front facade of this imposing building. We believe we have produced a sculpture worthy of the buildings grandeur and standing in our nation’s history.

Each of our architectural sculptures is handmade in our studio in Sussex, England. They are made of strong plaster that has a reassuring weight and smooth, cool feel. The window frames and door are made of etched brass. Stylish ornaments, gifts or presents that are handmade in Britain and look fabulous on a desk, shelf or wall.
