VISUAL MERCHANDISING PROPS

Some of the world's largest retailers have commissioned us to make handcrafted props for their stores. We can't name them — they prefer it that way — but between them they have hundreds of stores worldwide, and we've supplied all of them.

That's not a small undertaking. Producing visual merchandising props at retail scale means designing pieces that are beautiful enough to hold their own in a high-end store environment, robust enough to survive constant handling, and consistent enough that the hundredth unit looks as good as the first. It also means understanding how a multinational retailer actually operates — the distribution hub requirements, the logistics, the delivery windows. We've shipped hundreds of units in articulated lorries through international logistics networks. We know what's involved.

The props themselves are made in plaster, by hand, in our Sussex studio. The craft is the point — retailers come to us precisely because a handmade plaster prop has a quality and presence that a mass-produced alternative doesn't. We work iteratively, refining the design with the client before committing to a full production run, and we're used to working within the tight timelines that retail rollouts demand.

If you're looking for retail display props or window display props that say something about quality and craft, get in touch here and tell us about the project.
