The Regency Town House, 13 Brunswick Square, Hove is a fine example of the regency movement of the late 18th and early 19th century. The house, completed in the mid 1820’s, is Grade 1 listed and has been painstakingly restored to its former glory by “The Brunswick Town Charitable Trust” and now acts as a living museum to the period and area.

Charles Busby was the architect responsible for the house, the square and surrounding regency “new town”. Busby included the infrastructure necessary, from public houses to markets, for the different social groups who would take up residence. The build was expensive and prestigious with construction following strict specifications and using only the highest quality materials.

The development is instantly recognisable as belonging to Brighton and Hove. It has stood the test of time and remains one of the most desirable parts of Brighton and Hove in which to live.
