The Capitol Records Building created in 1956 by Welton Becket is one of the most recognisable landmark buildings in the world. The building lights up the Los Angeles skyline with its unique circular design resembling a stack of records and its 90-foot rooftop spire resembling a record deck needle. The building is situated north of the famed Hollywood and Vine and is so much a part of its surroundings the red light on the tip of its spire even ‘blinks’ the word ‘Hollywood’ in morse code!

Address: 1750 Vine St, Los Angeles, CA 90028, United States.
