The Firestone Building in Brentford London was a wonderful example of Art Deco architecture. The building was designed by Wallis, Gilbert & Partners for the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company of Ohio. The building was based on an Egyptian temple.
Unfortunately the building was hastily destroyed in 1980 just prior to it become listed.
Address: Great West Road, Brentford, London, England.
