Paris Place Trocadero Cityscape — 3D Map of the Trocadero and Eiffel Tower

The view from the Trocadero is one of the most famous in the world — the Eiffel Tower framed across the Seine, the Champ de Mars stretching behind it. This model puts you above that view entirely, capturing the area on both banks of the Seine at 1:5000 scale with the Place du Trocadero at its centre and the Eiffel Tower in the south-eastern corner of the frame.

Cast in white resin and mounted in an oak frame, it's the Paris cityscape for those who know the city well — a model that spans the river, connecting the grand residential streets north of the Seine with the open parkland of the Champ de Mars to the south, all anchored by the most recognisable structure in France.

The area

The model is centred on the Place du Trocadero, the semicircular esplanade in front of the Palais de Chaillot, with its sweeping views across the Seine to the Eiffel Tower. That tower — built by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 World's Fair — sits in the south-eastern corner of the frame, its distinctive footprint unmistakeable even at 1:5000 scale. The Seine itself runs across the lower portion of the model, with the Champ de Mars visible on the opposite bank. North of the Trocadero the frame extends into the residential streets of the 16th arrondissement — the broad, uniform boulevards and densely packed apartment blocks of Haussmann's Second Empire city. The optional blue Seine finish is particularly effective on this model given the river's prominence in the frame.
